Five years ago my PCP recommended Sarah to help me manage my Type 2 Diabetes; since then I have been seeing her regularly (every 2 or 3 months), both in person and virtually. She is my all-time favorite practitioner, and I couldn't be more satisfied with her knowledge, professionalism, accessibility, and very kind manner. I trust her completely and know that she genuinely cares about me and my concerns; she is an excellent listener and generously gives me all the time I need to address my medical issues--something I've not experienced so fully with any other health professional. Sarah is helping me tremendously, not only with my Diabetes but also with my general health, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She is simply wonderful! Finally, I want to add that the caring environment which she and Dr. Fox have created at The Alpine Center is supported by their whole team (including Claudia, Mary, and Isabel), so I wish to commend them as well!

Sarah Sato and Alpine staff worked hard to help me obtain earlier access to the new Insula G6/G7 Omnipod 5. Insula seems to have many months delay and very slow release getting Medicare to cover this, and still have only predicted a loose "late fall". I received my first test kit just this Friday. They made it happen after I had located a supplier that could provide them. If you wish to gain from the large potential benefit of automated CGM and Omnipods, I recommend working with Alpine to accomplish that. I now use half the insulin I used when I was using syringes, and I have done it for 53 years.

When Dr. Fox began my appointment with him his knowledge of my condition, based on information I had previously submitted, allowed him to ask a few cogent questions for clarification and perform a focused physical exam. Then he compiled a short list of lab work to be done and made suggestions for altering the dosing of my medication and how to respond to my reactions to these changes. He listened carefully to my answers to his questions, gave me written instructions (which contained diagrams) as well as relevant printed material, and whether I approved of his management plan for my condition. The encounter was an exceptionally efficient, caring, and satisfying way to begin a physician-patient relationship.

Dr. Fox analyzed my blood sugar levels and symptoms and explained the things I needed to do to improve my prognosis. All this was very helpful and made me realize I needed to make some real changes. I really like the compassionate way he suggests changes without laying a guilt trip on me.

It's refreshing to have a doctor who is both knowledgeable and takes the time to listen with understanding in order to apply that knowledge to the particulars of a given circumstance. I finally have my energy back and can live my life more fully.

I am relieved to know that the constant choking I experience is not from my thyroid nodule. Dr. Fox suggested another cause, which I really appreciate because most doctors have no answer, no suggestions, and no helpful input.

After Dr. Fox was able to find and diagnose my cancer when many other doctors could not, I wouldn't put myself in any other hands. He is capable, attentive, and does ultrasound himself in office instead of sending me elsewhere. I've really appreciated the care I've received from him.
